NPMA's Jim Fredericks Appears on Good Morning America

 

In April, Fredericks provided insights into keeping yards mosquito-free for a USA Today article, which included extensive research from the Professional Pest Management Alliance.

 

Cindy Mannes, executive director of of the Professional Pest Management Alliance, the public outreach arm of the National Pest Management Association (NPMA), said that article caught the attention of produces from Good Morning America, who interviewed Fredericks for segment on the popular national morning newscast.

 

Fredericks provided tips on how to stay safe from mosquitoes, ticks, stinging insects and he also shared information on Brood X cicadas. He noted that cicadas don't pose harm to humans or property and that they should be gone by mid-July.
