The Professional Pest Management Alliance (PPMA), the public outreach arm of the National Pest Management Association (NPMA), has released its artificial intelligence (AI) research findings for July 2021.
With soggy, wet weather drenching most of the south, it’s no surprise that termites saw the highest increase in engagement out of any other core pest in July at 259%. Engagement around the topic of earwigs also saw a staggering increase of 391% in July. Most surprising, however, is the stark increase in engagement on the topic of mice in Michigan at 3,227% and flies in South Dakota at 1,487%.
