Pest control firm Excel Pest Services released a study showing that in 2021 the popularity of pest control in the US has increased by 107% compared to 2019.
The study showed that Delaware, Florida and Georgia were named as the states that take the best care of their homes to be free of pests, according to the study. The three states take the top three positions in the study based on Google search volume in 2021. We have compared this to data in 2019 and 2020.
Other key findings include:
• Popularity of pest control during the pandemic in the entire US raised by 107%
• After pandemic in the year 2021 compared to 2020 during the pandemic pest control service demand has dropped by 23%
• The highest increase of interest in pest control was seen by 667% in California
• Currently the most interest in pest control industry is reported in Delaware with 1200 searches per capita, then Florida and Georgia
