Jake Plevelich to Leave NPMA

FAIRFAX, Va. – Jake Plevelich has resigned as director of public policy for the National Pest Management Association. Plevelich, who has been with NPMA since 2015, accepted an offer to work in the financial industry, NPMA confirmed.

In a statement emailed to PCT, NPMA CEO Dominique Stumpf, wrote, “NPMA thanks Jake for all his work in advocating for pest control companies at the state and local level and wishes him the best in his new role. NPMA is actively seeking candidates to support our continued success across legislative and regulatory efforts.”

Plevelich has served as director of public policy at NPMA since 2018. In this role he was NPMA’s liaison to the association’s SPAR (State Policy Affairs Representative) program and PestVets committee; the PAC fundraising coordinator; and he worked cooperatively with like-minded trade groups and Capitol Hill offices.
