ATLANTA – Atlanta-based Arrow Exterminators announced the merger and acquisition of Tropicare Termite and Pest Control, a service company focused on providing residential pest and termite control and lawn care in the Tampa Bay area. From its headquarters in Land O’ Lakes, Fla., Tropicare services customers from Citrus and Marion counties to the north, and Pasco, Pinellas and Hillsborough counties to the south.
“We are excited to welcome the team members and customers of Tropicare to the Arrow family,” said Emily Thomas Kendrick, chief executive officer of Arrow Exterminators. “This new office gives us a total of 40 service centers throughout the great state of Florida and 155 offices in the country.”
Marty Gagnon, president of Tropicare, said, “We really feel great about our choice to merge with the Arrow family. Their team impressed us, and we know we made the right decision for our employees. Arrow really cares about how customers and employees are treated and those were the two things we were really concerned about when we started to think about a sale. We are so happy to be able to offer our long-time customers an expanded range of services.”
Tropicare was established in 1978.
“Marty has built a team to be proud of and we are thrilled that this group of professionals will join us and will blend in very well with the Arrow family,” said Tim Pollard, president and chief operating officer, Arrow Exterminators.
