Chemoak Compressed Air Hoses are flexible, even in cold winter months, the company reports. They are 4½ feet long and incorporate swivel fittings on both ends to increase ease of use. The polyurethane tubing is highly chemical resistant thus rendering the user a long service life product, J.F. Oakes reports.
Whitmire Micro-Gen
Whitmire Micro-Gen introduces MotherEarth D Pest Control Dust, a naturally occurring desiccant dust that provides long-lasting control of ants, cockroaches and other crawling insects. The dust can be used for indoor and outdoor applications, including sensitive accounts, Whitmire Micro-Gen reports.
MotherEarth D is composed of 100 percent freshwater diatomaceous earth which is the fossilized skeletal remains of single-celled phytoplankton commonly referred to as diatoms. These high-purity freshwater diatoms have outstanding absorptive properties that result in broad spectrum insect control through desiccation, according to the manufacturer. This lightweight dust also covers voids, cracks and crevices without clumping or caking.
MotherEarth D Pest Control Dust is labeled for ants, cockroaches, earwigs, fleas, mites, spiders and other crawling insects. As of press time, registration was pending in California and Puerto Rico.

FMC Professional Solutions
FMC Professional Solutions recently launched BaseLine pretreat termiticide. BaseLine features a concentrated version of the active ingredient in Talstar. BaseLine creates a long-lasting zone of protection, turns termites away and kills any that come into contact with the treated zone, FMC Professional Solutions reports. BaseLine is available in 5-gallon totes with attached spigots, which are small enough to fit onto spray trucks, yet large enough to eliminate excessive disposal of containers, according to the company. BaseLine’s pretreat use rate is 1 quart per 100 finished gallons. BaseLine binds tightly to organic matter in soils and will not move from the treated zone, FMC Professional Solutions reports.

Syngenta Professional Products announced that Demand EZ with iCAP technology is now available. Demand EZ with iCAP technology offers pest management professionals the general pest protection and long residual power of Demand CS with iCAP technology in a less concentrated formulation that allows easier pouring so professionals can more accurately measure the output. When mixed with water, the final solutions of Demand CS and Demand EZ are identical. Demand EZ is less concentrated, which means easier and more accurate measuring, reducing the risk of product waste.
Demand EZ features the same active ingredient, lambda-cyhalothrin, and the same formulation technology as Demand CS. The Syngenta exclusive iCAP technology encases the active in different sized microcapsules that hold their shapes and stay where sprayed for three to six months. This encapsulation protects the integrity of the active ingredient from pH and sunlight while extending the residual control with Demand.
