The latest addition to the Maxforce lineup, Maxforce Granular Fly Bait from Bayer Environmental Science, kills flies in 60 seconds and lasts up to 30 days, the company says. Two powerful attractants combined with the non-repellent active ingredient imidacloprid makes Maxforce Fly Bait irresistible, the company reports. Bayer ES says that imidacloprid is effective against flies, even those resistant to OP and carbamate insecticides. And because all the components of the bait matrix are evenly distributed throughout the bait, the product remains attractive and effective for long periods of time. Maxforce Fly Bait also contains Bitrex bittering agent to help prevent accidental ingestion by non-target animals. Ready-to-use in 5- and 40-pound plastic pails, Maxforce Granular Fly Bait has broad label use directions and can be applied as a broadcast application, placed in bait stations or dissolved in water and painted on surfaces.

CLIP Connect, a service that offers real-time information exchange between the office and job site, was recently introduced by CLIP Software. CLIP Connect uses Web access platform technology to keep office and field personnel connected, saving time and paperwork. Using a Web-enabled cellular phone, field personnel can update the CLIP Connect Web portal with particular job information, such as start and finish times. Once entered, this information is immediately available to office personnel with Internet access. Additionally, all information needed for invoicing customers is automatically updated. CLIP Connect also can be used to monitor the status of every scheduled job from any location.
