Liphatech

www.liphatech.com

Liphatech has enhanced the design of its tamper-resistant AEGIS-RP bait station to include a host of new features — including rounded inside corners where the walls and floors meet that make cleaning the station fast and easy, the company says. While the rounded corners make cleanout easier, a side benefit is the addition of plastic to the corners, which has further increased the integrity of the station’s platform/floor. The end result is a structurally more robust station designed to withstand the rigors of virtually any application, Liphatech reports.

The new AEGIS-RP also features a precautionary statement in Spanish, which is in addition to a statement in English. Additionally, the AEGIS-RP brand name is more prominently displayed, making the station more easily identifiable.

Bayer Environmental Science

www.bayerprocentral.com

Bayer Environmental Science reports that the 25-5 Pyrenone Public Health Insecticide will be packaged in 30-gallon returnable and refillable drums. The new drums have a special fitting that allows access through a coupler and makes it easier for mosquito control professionals to use, Bayer reports. Also, the mixer/loader has far less exposure due to the "closed" system while loading.

County and district officials no longer have a disposal concern because of the new system’s simplicity, the company reports. Customers call the 800-number listed on the drum and the drum recycler returns, cleans, and delivers the drum back to Bayer for re-filling. The new 30-gallon returnable drum is in addition to the 30-gallon Aqua-Reslin drum and all of the company’s 275-gallon sizes of Scourge and Permanone. All of these insecticides are returnable and refillable.

Once in contact with water, the product is self-spreading, has a long residual period and provides full life stage mosquito control, ADAPCO reports.
