Syngenta and PCT recognized five pest management industry professionals during a special Crown Leadership Awards reception.

PCT Publisher Jodi Dorsch and Lead News Editor Brad Harbison, along with Marshall Gaster, head of marketing, Professional Pest Management, Syngenta, presented this year’s awards to:

• Andrew Klein, Rentokil Terminix, New York, N.Y.
• Kevin Lemasters, Action Leadership, Pensacola, Fla.
• Tim Pollard, Arrow Exterminators, Atlanta, Ga.
Dominique Stumpf, NPMA, Fairfax, Va.

Since 1988, the Crown Leadership Awards have been presented annually to pest management professionals, university educators, consultants, industry distributors and association officials who uphold the highest standards of industry ethics, while contributing their time and talent to a wide range of professional and civic organizations.

Also at this year’s ceremony, PCT and Syngenta presented a Lifetime Achievement Award to past Crown Leadership Award winner Cindy Mannes.

Mannes has served in dual roles as executive director of the Professional Pest Management Alliance (PPMA) and senior vice president of public affairs for the National Pest Management Association (NPMA) for nearly 15 years. In June, she announced she would be retiring at year’s end.
