The American Association of Pesticide Safety Educators (AAPSE) in conjunction with Pesticide Applicator Certification and Training (PACT), met in Denver, CO July 19-21.
The goal of the meeting was to provide State Lead Agencies (SLAs), Pesticide Safety Education Program (PSEP) staff, pest management professionals, members of industry, and stakeholders with the most up-to-date regulatory information to support implementation and compliance assistance.
Members of Black Ownership Matters (Dr. Sonja Thomas, PSEP Coordinator Auburn University; Faye Golden, Government Affairs Director Cook’s Pest Control (Decatur, AL), and Sterling Barbour, owner of Revolution National Pest Council) participated and lead sessions during the multi-day meeting. During the meeting, Faye Golden was installed as president of AAPSE.
