GARDENA, Calif. - American City Pest & Termite, Gardena, Calif., thinks so much of bees they built and funded the maintenance of an Apiary in Acton, Calif.

American City named it the Bugs Ugh Bee Farm and incorporated is logo Bugs Ugh!

The Bee Farm was established in June 2019 with a purchased hive and the company has rescued three more since then. Although it’s necessary to sometimes eliminate bees in the city because of location, or a public health threat, American City’s goal is to relocate bees whenever possible.

“Our beekeepers keep us updated on the growth, health and honey production of the hives and send us lots of photos,” said president Cindy Ziemke. “Our entire company has enjoyed learning more about bees and their lifecycles, mating habits, and honeycomb production. We look forward to seeing our Bugs Ugh Bee Farm grow and continue to thrive! Happy Pollinator’s Month to all!”
