ServiceMaster Global Holdings announced that Brett T. Ponton is the company’s new chief executive officer. Since 2017, Ponton has served as president and chief executive officer of Monro, the largest independent operator of tire and auto service retail stores in the U.S.

Terminix announced Alex Ho has been named chief marketing officer for its residential business. In this role, Ho will oversee all aspects of the marketing function, including digital, brand, product management, pricing and eCommerce platforms. Ho, who was named to the Forbes CMO Next list in 2018, joins Terminix after eight years with American Greetings, where he most recently served as chief marketing officer.

Audrey Hall, president of Eco Serve Pest Services, Orchard Park, N.Y., graduated this summer from the University at Buffalo Center for Entrepreneurial Leadership (CEL) Core Program. This 10-month program allows participants to explore new methods for business growth in a confidential, noncompetitive environment with assistance from fellow classmates, UB School of Management faculty and external business experts. In addition to graduating from the program, Hall was honored with the 2020 Taylor Kew Award, which is an annual award that recognizes a graduate for entrepreneurial excellence and exemplifying the principles for which the late Kew stood.

    John Smith, a veteran of the professional products industry, has taken on a newly established role as vice president of commercial operations for AMVAC Environmental Products (AEP), an American Vanguard Company. In his new role, Smith oversees all marketing, branding, sales and key account management for AEP’s products and technologies in turf, ornamentals, pest control and public health.

Craig Martelle is the new territory salesperson for B&G Equipment – Pelsis. Pest Control Insulation announced the promotion of Annie McCane to marketing director. She will assume primary responsibility for guiding PCI’s marketing efforts for its range of products and services.
