Elis Acquires Dublin-Based PestGuard Limited

Elis has acquired PestGuard, the largest privately held pest control company in Ireland. The Potomac Company announced the sale.

 

With over 46,000 employees, Elis is an international multi-service provider, offering textile, hygiene, pest control and facility services solutions in 28 countries in Europe and Latin America.

 

PestGuard is the largest privately held commercial pest control company in Ireland. It is a 50 employee business based in Dublin and covers the whole of the Ireland and Northern Ireland. Elis has recently started addressing the Irish pest control market and this acquisition will accelerate the growth in this market. PestGuard management will remain in place to pursue the business development. This acquisition will be consolidated from 1 August 2021.

 

Paul Giannamore and Franco Villanueva-Meyer of The Potomac Company represented and acted as exclusive financial advisors to PestGuard in this transaction. Terms of the transactions were not directly disclosed. The transaction was completed on July 25, 2021.
