Envu to Begin its Future at PestWorld

CARY, N.C. — Envu begins its future at PestWorld as a stand-alone company focused solely on environmental science, contingent on the successful close of Cinven’s acquisition of the business from Bayer. Pronounced “ehn-view,” the company will celebrate its future with the entire pest management industry at PestWorld. Attendees can look forward to the opening keynote address by Gilles Galliou, CEO of Environmental Science; and Gokhan Vergon, head of Professional Pest Management; about the changing industry and how pest management professionals play a vital role in addressing some of the world’s biggest challenges.

This year, Bayer Pest Management and Public Health will have a significant presence at PestWorld:

• Opening Keynote Address: On Tuesday, October 11 at 1:30 p.m., Galliou and Vergon will present the opening keynote address about the changing industry and how pest management professionals play a vital role in addressing some of the industry’s biggest challenges.

• Envu Celebration: To celebrate the beginning of Envu, attendees are invited to visit booth #1416 following the opening keynote address.

• Educational Session: On Wednesday, October 12 at 1:30 p.m., Dr. Kurt Vandock will discuss how integrated pest management is crucial to disease prevention. Dr. Vandock will talk about how pest control companies have the perfect opportunity and a responsibility to educate customers about the threats posed by pests and the industry’s role as protectors of public health.
