LOGAN, Utah — Fox Pest Control employees participated in the Comic Relief US virtual Red Nose Day, raising $1,100 towards ending child poverty.
Members of the Fox Family spread awareness together using the Red Nose Day filter on social media. With each digital Red Nose selfie, five dollars was donated to Comic Relief US and the proceeds will be distributed to charities across the United States.
“In the U.S. before COVID-19, about 1 in 6 children lived in poverty and more than 12 million children didn’t have reliable access to sufficient food,” stated Andrea Holyoak, special projects manager at Fox Pest Control. “Now with the effects of the virus, there could be thousands more. We wanted to help those families in need, especially during this uncertain time.”
This is Fox’s second year participating in Red Nose Day, and they plan to continue the tradition in years to come.
Michael Stokes, chief operating officer at Fox Pest Control added, “We love seeing all of our employees work together to make an impact”.
