Sprague Pest Solutions announced the acquisition of California Pest Management (CAL-PEST), a family-owned pest control company founded by Jim and Gail Harmon. This marks Sprague’s third acquisition in the Los Angeles market.

Several CAL-PEST team members will join Sprague to assist with onboarding. CAL-PEST has decades of experience serving school districts and customers through Integrated Pest Management Programs, said Sprague.

The opportunities the California market presents for Sprague’s growth are significant, and we are eager to build on the foundation of quality service that Jim, Gail and their team have established.”

Clark Pest Control, a Lodi, Calif.-based subsidiary of Rollins, has acquired Eco Strike Pest Control, Coarsegold, Calif. The transaction closed July 21, 2024, and was announced by Cetane Associates, which arranged the deal.

Eco Strike Pest Control was founded in 2013. Serving California’s Central Sierra region, the company offers residential pest and rodent control using both green and traditional treatment options. The business added mosquito services in 2024.

Eco Strike was owned and operated by Rebecca and Brandon Miller. Brandon said, “We chose Clark Pest Control because our customers will continue to receive the highest level of quality, reliability and customer care that we provided, plus now enjoy enhanced services. We’re sincerely excited to join Clark Pest Control and become part of the Rollins family.”

Massey Services, Orlando, Fla., has acquired Cloud Pest Management of Oklahoma City, Okla. Cloud Pest Management has been providing residential pest and mosquito services in Oklahoma City and Tulsa since 2019. With this acquisition, Massey Services now has four service centers throughout the state in the cities of Edmond, Moore, Oklahoma City and Tulsa.

Certus Pest acquired Good Earth Pest Control, a pest control company servicing the Sacramento, Calif., area. Good Earth will be merging with Bell Pest Control, another pest control firm recently acquired by Certus.

Prior to acquiring Good Earth and Bell, Certus established a foothold in the San Francisco Bay region through its Purcor Pest Solutions brand. The additions of Good Earth and Bell have helped expand their reach in Northern California further, Certus said.

Cetane Associates served as the sole arranger for Good Earth.

Excel Pest Services, based in River Edge, N.J., has acquired Arnold’s Pest Control, based in Cranford, N.J. The acquisition was announced by The Aust Group, which served as exclusive financial adviser to Arnold’s Pest Control on this transaction.

Sam Hagopian III, executive vice president of Excel, said, “We are thrilled to welcome Arnold’s Pest Control into the Excel Pest Services family; we have always greatly admired their commitment to exceptional service and strong brand recognition throughout the Union County area.”

Arnold’s was established by Arnold Santoro and has served Union County for more than 70 years.
