The company said the device can operate for up to 300 strikes per charge. The trap is weather-resistant and intended for use in homes, on farms and in commercial facilities. It does not use CO2 cartridges, rodenticides or glue, and the manufacturer says it can be maintained easily and used in areas where pets and children are present.

Customers can choose 316 or 304 grade stainless steel for fluid paths on many reel types to match the corrosion resistance required for their application, according to the company. Coxreels’ spools and frames will remain 302/304 grade stainless and are available with an optional electro-polished finish for added corrosion resistance. According to the company, 302/304 and 316 are the primary stainless steel types used in the reel industry.
