Truly Nolen Pest Control, Tucson, Ariz., recently hosted the company’s second annual Community Car Show, which featured more than 50 of late founder Truly David Nolen’s antique cars along with vehicles from seven local car clubs. About 1,000 people attended the car show, where they could sit in the antiques, take photos and use the company’s Snapchat event filter while learning more about the many non-profit organizations in Tucson during the event.

California Pest Management, La Verne, Calif., is expanding its marketing efforts by sponsoring sports events and teams in the company’s region of Southern California. Last year the company sponsored a lower-level NASCAR team at a local venue, and a Top Fuel Funny car at the NHRA National Finals in Pomona, Calif.

American Pest Control was named the “2018 Best of the Best” in Athens, Ga. Gene Higginbotham founded the firm in November 1971 after many years in the pest control industry. Now, American Pest Control operates eight additional service centers across northeast Georgia and South Carolina.

Arizona Pest Control, based in Tucson, Ariz., was named Best Pest Control Company in Tucson for 2018 in the Arizona Daily Star’s Readers’ Choice Awards. This annual award is a voluntary poll of Arizona Daily Star readers. Arizona Pest Control has been serving Tucson and Southern Arizona since 1947.

 

Rentokil expanded its New York footprint with the acquisition of Hudson Valley, N.Y.-based Liberty Pest Control. Liberty was founded in 1959 and its service area spans from Albany, N.Y., to Scranton, Pa. Paul Giannamore and Ericka Andes of The Potomac Company acted as exclusive financial advisers to the company, along with attorney Michael Stanczyk.
