New Jersey-based Mosquito and Pest Authority No More Bugs of Brick recently hosted its 10th annual End of Summer BBQ Bash, welcoming more than 600 guests for a day of food, fun and entertainment for autistic children and their families.

The free event drew approximately 620 attendees, who enjoyed hamburgers, hot dogs, drinks, carnival rides, bounce houses, games, live music, magicians and appearances by costumed characters.

The celebration, which was organized and run by Regional Manager Nicholas Wingler, is designed to provide a joyful, inclusive experience for families in the community.

Central Florida Vocal Arts (CFVA) announced a $50,000 gift from Orlando, Fla.-based Massey Services to support arts education for all programming. This investment will fund inclusive arts education programming for youth and underserved populations across Central Florida — advancing CFVA’s mission to transform people’s lives through the performing arts.

CFVA provides free music education and community classes weekly to students across Orange and Osceola counties, with the expectation of serving 50,000 individuals this year through private lessons, community classes and public performances. CFVA’s programs are designed to address critical community issues, including youth mental health, by providing healthy outlets for self-expression and actualization.

Teammates from Northwest Exterminating’s brands donated nearly 4,000 coloring books and hundreds of boxes of crayons to CURE Childhood Cancer. The idea started with Devon Cazee, a service professional in Buford, Ga., after a conversation with a longtime customer whose daughter is CURE’s CEO.

Cazee suggested the donation after learning how coloring books help children cope with illness. With support from the company’s Good Deed Team across six states, teammates surpassed Cazee’s original goal of 2,400 books, collecting 3,968 in just one month.

The donations will be distributed to hospitals in Augusta, Atlanta and Savannah. CURE supports families through meals, mental health resources, bereavement care and funding for pediatric cancer research.
