HAWTHORNE, N.J. — Prestige Pest Services (PPS) is celebrating its seventh year in business. Favio Ulloa and his wife Karol founded the company in the summer of 2014 in Hawthorne, N.J. They started venture using their shed and a second-hand truck to serve local towns in New Jersey.
Today, almost seven years later, PPS provides residential and commercial pest control services in New Jersey, New York, Brooklyn, Bayside, Queens and the Bronx.
The Ulloas are Ecuadorian natives that immigrated to New Jersey in 2000. They enrolled in a full-time community college and learned English as a second language while holding a variety of jobs that taught them customer service and sales skills.
