PWIPM of New England Holds Inaugural Leadership Summit

WOBURN, Mass. - On Nov. 20,, the PWIPM Of New England held its first annual Leadership Summit. 

This year’s topic was “Women Who Lead” and was run by Marinn Bengel who is the director of human resources at Forshaw.  Discussion revolved around Influencing from Within, Empowering teams, and Inspiring Others.  28 women attended from Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, and New Hampshire.

The mission of the New England PWIPM is to empower women in the pest management industry through recruitment, education, mentoring and professional development.

The next development workshop will be on Thursday Feb. 13, 2020 from 11 am-1pm in Woburn, MA.  The topic is “Being a Pest Management PROFESSIONAL” and will be led by George Williams ACE from Univar Solutions.
