TEXAS PCO MAKES APPEARANCE ON DONNY & MARIE

Hollywood — Texas PCO Michael Bohdan was recently in Hollywood, Calif., to film a segment on the "Donny & Marie" talk show. While he was there, Bohdan talked about both his cockroaches and his "Cockroach Hall of Fame" museum in Texas. Bohdan owns The Pest Shop, Plano, Texas. "The segment went real well, it was funny as well as informative," he said.

Bohdan has been featured on other shows as well, including "The Tonight Show," "Good Morning America," and "To Tell the Truth," among others.

In addition, Bohdan has just written his first book, "What’s Buggin’ You?"

"In this book, I’ll teach you my tricks of the trade, tell you a little bit about myself and my industry, and give you some tips and insights on the safest and most effective ways to control pests," his website, www.pestshop.com, tells visitors.

STATE RETAIL GAS AVERAGES

Washington, D.C. — The average price of gasoline in January, $1.28, was the highest January price recorded since 1990 and the Energy Information Administration (EIA) says prices will continue to rise, peaking at a record average price of $1.40 per gallon this spring.

PCOs can expect to pay about 20 cents per gallon more this driving season (April to September) than they did during the same period last year, an EIA forecast reported.
