PMPs can enhance their pest management program with Spotta’s bed bug detection system. Spotta says its Bed Pod monitors can pest management professionals identify the presence of bed bugs early and treat the problem with pinpoint accuracy and speed.
Designed for lodging and accommodation businesses — including hotels, managed retirement villages and care homes — the smart technology is easy-to-use and low maintenance. A pheromone lure draws the pests into the Bed Pod which is fitted beneath the mattress. On entering, a tiny camera is triggered and Spotta’s AI detection system analyzes and classifies the pest, sending users an email alert of its presence.
Spotta says it has protected hundreds of thousands of room-nights across Europe and the UK. Now available in the U.S., Spotta complements bed bug treatment services by offering an early detection program.
