ABOUT THE SURVEY
The State of the Termite Market Survey was compiled by Readex Research, a privately held research firm based in Stillwater, Minn. A survey sample of 2,322 was systematically selected by GIE Media and Readex Research from Pest Control Technology’s circulation of emailable recipients at unique company locations in the United States and with titles of owner, partner, executive, or president. Data was collected from 261 respondents – an 11% response rate – via an online survey from December 13 to December 22, 2016. The margin of error for percentages based on the 185 respondents who indicated their company location offers termite control services is ±7.1 percentage points at the 95% confidence level.
