IRVINE, Calif. — The West Coast Rodent Academy (WCRA) will be held at University of California’s South Coast Research and Extension Center, Irvine, Calif., November 6-8th.
This unique workshop includes lectures, hand-on activities and break-out sessions to help attendees gain a better understanding of rodent ecology and integrated pest management (IPM). Attendees will learn about rodent disease, monitoring, trapping, urban rodent surveys and much more.
The workshop also provides attendees with opportunities to develop and hone their skills in staged, real-life scenarios at the Demonstration Landscapes at the University of California’s South Coast Research and Extension Center.
The featured speaker is Niamh Quinn, the new University of California Cooperative Extension Human - Wildlife Advisor, based at the South Coast Research and Extension Center in Irvine.
WCRA will honor the association price for any NPMA or other State Pest Management Association membership.
