PARSIPPANY, N.J. — For the past seven years, N.J.-based Western Pest Services has been supporting Relay for Life through time, donations and individual fundraising efforts. The Northern New Jersey team has been involved in the Morris County event for several years and was a Silver Sponsor for this year’s event held at the Morris County Armory on May 2. The Southern New Jersey/Pennsylvania team started a new tradition this year and sponsored and participated in the Main Line at Great Valley event on June 2. Together, the 2018 Western’s Angels for Hope teams honored the lives lost to cancer, celebrated the survivors and caregivers and raised more than $10,000.

“One of our core values is connecting with the communities in which we live and work.  Participating in the two Relay for Life events this year allows us to do just that,” said Mark Bretz, vice president and general manager of Western Pest Services. “The American Cancer Society is an outstanding organization, and the Relay for Life events allow our team members to spend time together in the communities we serve.  Cancer touches the lives of so many and at Western we are proud to be even a small part of helping find a cure."

Relay for Life is a community-based fundraising event of the American Cancer Society. Each year, more than 5,000 Relay for Life events take place in more than 20 countries.
