GPCA PestVets' Collecting Coats for Homeless Veterans and Families

The Georgia Pest Control Association (GPCA) is taking coat donations for homeless veterans from Sept. 30 to Nov. 1. Last year, the association collected more than 6,500 coats.

The GPCA Pest Vets has collaborated with the Cherokee County Homeless Veterans Program to collect coats for the last five years. The association has collected 17,000 coats. All the coats were distributed directly to veterans and their families in need. 

Coats can be all seasons, gender and sizes including children size. Coats should be gently used and in wearable condition.

GPCA members and the community at large can create a donation drop-off box/area and collect coats in support of homeless veterans and veteran families in need. At the end of the coat drive, members can deliver collected coats to any location listed on the drop off locations list before Nov. 30.
