EDINBURGH, Ind. — Indiana Pest Management Association (IPMA), along with BASF, Veseris and Target Specialty Products, sponsored a one-day advanced termite workshop at The Hilton Garden Inn in Edinburgh, Ind., last month.
More than 50 attendees from Indiana, Illinois, Michigan, Ohio, Kentucky and Texas learned tips on the most effective termite treatment tools, equipment and control methods at the Nov. 30 event. Attendees also learned proper inspection techniques and record keeping and reviewed termite horror stories to help keep companies out of legal problems.
Presenters included Paul Bello of PJB Pest Management Consulting and Dr. Jason Meyers and Adrian Culpepper of BASF.
Bello holds a bachelor's degree in entomology from the University of Georgia, as well as an MBA in accounting from Adelphi University. He has more than 44 years of experience in the pest control industry as a business owner and educator.
Meyers has been with BASF since 2008 and serves as a market development specialist. He has degrees from Missouri State University and the University of Arkansas and his doctorate from Texas A&M University.
Culpepper has served in various capacities with BASF since 2014 and is a pest control field representative for Indiana, Michigan, Ohio and West Virginia.
