PCT caught up with Karla Salp, Washington State Department of Agriculture, to learn about WSDA’s 2021 plans for monitoring and eradicating the Asian Giant Hornet, including its partnership with Canadian officials.
The Asian Giant Hornet was confirmed last year in the state of Washington. Since that time, the Washington State Department of Agriculture (WSDA) has been busy with monitoring and eradication efforts. WSDA also is the subject of a new Discovery Channel documentary. As these insects will soon be emerging, PCT caught up with WSDA’s Karla Salp for a podcast to learn about WSDA’s 2021 plans, including its partnership with Canadian officials.
