In a webinar sponsored by Conidiotec, Virginia Tech University's Dr. Dini Miller and Morgan Wilson, who work almost exclusively in low-income housing, share their knowledge and recommendations for bed bug management techniques and strategies in some of the most challenging situations.
There is no ‘one size fits all’ when it comes to bed bug management. Strategies and approaches must be adjusted according to the situation and conditions. Recent improvements in products and techniques for control of bed bugs have enabled many PMPs to implement less labor-intensive protocols, which benefit both them and their clients. However, in many low-income and social housing situations, a total lack of client cooperation can make bed bug remediation challenging.
In the following webinar, sponsored by Aprehend, Dr. Dini Miller and Morgan Wilson work almost exclusively in low-income housing and shared their knowledge and recommendations for bed bug management techniques and strategies in some of the most challenging situations.
Dr. Nina Jenkins followed with some specifics on the implementation of Aprehend in range of different situations, including low-income housing and single-family residences, and proactive quarterly protocols for a public and service sectors including public transport, dialysis centers, general medical facilities, hotels, motels, and shelters.
Attendees learned how to ensure that their bed bug services are profitable and efficient and gain valuable insight into how offering quarterly, proactive bed bug services can lead to expanded business opportunities.
