At the NPMA Women’s Forum in Atlanta, attendees made Baskets of Hope for the Drake House, an organization that works to respond to the growing number of women and children experiencing homelessness. The charity works with the Georgia Pest Control Association PWIPM network.
Andrea Hancock, vice president at Mattress Safe and founder of P.E.S.T. Relief International, and Shay Runion, Arrow Exterminator's Chief Human Resource Officer, led the efforts and shared the importance of giving back in the pest control industry.
Hancock also shared more about P.E.S.T. Relief, where professionals in the industry are working to bring comfort and relief to orphaned, abused and at-risk individuals through offering pest-free living environments.
