John Koval, owner of Smitter Pest Control, Grand Rapids, Mich., shared a video of raccoons at a local bar. He explains why raccoons had become established at this account.
“Customers were sitting at the bar when raccoons began reaching their paws through the register,” he said.
After Koval was contacted by the bar’s doorman, he set live traps and ultimately removed six raccoons.
“They were accessing the building through an alleyway, climbing between the walls and entering through an opening near the roof,” said Koval, who added that the roof damage will need to be repaired by a construction company to prevent future issues.
