Watch behind-the-scenes video of Truly Nolen Youngstown, Ohio, franchisee Josh Allen performing general pest and mosquito control services.
Josh Allen cashed out his 401k savings plan with the U.S. Navy one year ago to open a Truly Nolen Youngstown, Ohio franchise business servicing the Mahoning, Trumbull and Columbiana counties in Northeast Ohio.
Allen has 100 recurring customers and about 200 altogether, with 25 commercial accounts. Calls for carpenter ants started to increase in December due to mild winter conditions in Northeast Ohio, Allen said, adding that termite, mice, rat and mosquito services have also been on the rise.
In the following video, PCT Digital Editor Amanda Donchatz spends a morning with Allen on a ride along to experience a day-in-the-life of a business owner and in-field technician.
