Hoffman's Exterminating General Manager Wayne Mauri shared why the southern New Jersey area is home to so many bats, how M&A deals have led to better route efficiency and cost-saving measures for the company and how a billboard sign outside of offices keeps customers coming back for more.
Last month, PCT headed to New Jersey for an on-site visit at Hoffman's Exterminating, Mantua, N.J., We learned that bats are one of the company's main service calls in the southern New Jersey area, and that mergers & acquisitions have spurred growth in recent years.
Wayne Mauri started in the field as a service manager seven years ago. He's now the company's general manager for all of the New Jersey branches. From working with technicians in the field to running day-to-day business operations, to having a hand in the company's M&A decisions, Mauri's done a little bit of everything at Hoffman's.
