B9 Bird Control Systems

B9 Bird Control Systems is marketing the Birdblaster California Electronic Scarecrow System. The pest bird frightening device uses electronic motion and heat sensors to detect birds attempting to enter an area under the system’s protection. Upon detection, the system responds with short but frantic blasts of compressed air, immediately and repeatedly repelling the ambushed invader, the company said. The pest birds do not habituate to the Birdblaster California system, according to B9 Bird Control Systems.

It is made from all-natural, food-grade ingredients, is non-toxic and polybutene free, and is exempt from FIFRA Regulation 40 CFR 152.25(f). The company said the gel won’t melt, evaporate or freeze, wipes easily from most surfaces, and cleans up with soap and water.

The Bird Scape is a cone-shaped unit that allows a one-way escape route for birds that may have become trapped inside of a netting installation. Bird Scape attaches easily to netting using hog rings, and allows trapped birds to safely enter the cone and free themselves from behind the net, the company said.
Bird Scape’s design allows birds to escape and not re-enter. Bird Scape provides pest management professionals with an easy-to-use, humane and time-saving device to avoid these situations.
Bird-X

The Super BirdXPeller PRO is a sonic repeller that pest management professionals can program to repel whatever birds are infesting a particular area. Pest professionals also may add real predator sounds to give the infesting birds even more of a sense of danger. Super BirdXPeller PRO uses actual species-specific distress cries, so pest birds perceive danger to their own species, the company said. The birds become agitated and disoriented, and flee.
Each of the bird sounds can be turned on or off, so pest management professionals can customize the unit for their infestation. These programming options make it virtually impossible for birds to get used to any one constant pattern, the company said.
Super BirdXPeller PRO consists of a control unit, four speakers with cords, an AC adaptor with cord, DC battery cables and complete instructions. A solar power panel is available for use with the 12-volt battery option. The four directional speakers shoot sound in a long oval pattern, covering up to six acres total (2.4 hectares), the company said. The system can be used in large outdoor areas or wherever pest birds are a problem.

When using the proper tools, bird netting can be a profitable method of bird control. The use of high quality materials such as polyethylene netting, stainless steel cables and hog rings help the client receive the highest quality work available, according to Fly-Bye. Proper installation and high-quality materials also ensure that pest professionals can charge higher prices and limit the chances of birds returning to the job site.
Polyethylene bird netting is made from high-density 12/6 strand twine. The netting is highly resistant to ultraviolet rays, will not absorb water or rot and is flame resistant, the company said. Polyethylene netting comes in heavy duty and standard density as well as ¾-inch and two-inch mesh sizes. Fly-Bye carries a full line of polyethylene netting.

In combination with other mitigation measures, OvoControl P results in a comprehensive and effective, long-term control program.
