LOVELAND, Colo. — Tom Cornwell of EnviroPest, Windsor, Colo., and creator of the popular Bug Songs CD, has found success performing these songs live.
This summer Cornwell sold out the 400-seat Rialto Theater in Loveland, Colo., for a morning performance to a crowd comprised primarily of parents and their children.
The booking agent for the Rialto Theater sent Cornwell a follow-up letter praising his performance, stating that “As advertised, the kids were having too much fun to realize they were being ‘taught’ about insects. The quality of the music and the lyrics was extremely professional and the folk guitar style appealed to parents as much as their youngsters. Tom was a professional at every level of the booking and performance process. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him for classroom or theater presentations and look forward to inviting him back to the Rialto Theater soon.
“I even made the front page of the brochure that they use to do advertising,” Cornwell said.
Cornwell said the concert’s success as enough to convince Rialto Theater management to invite him back next summer for another performance.
