David Fincannon, A-All Pest Termite Exterminators, Dallas, Texas, and Pi Chi Omega have created a DVD titled “The Greatest Generation and the Modern Pesticide Revolution,” that chronicles the pest control industry prior to, during and after World War II.
Fincannon, a Pi Chi Omega board member, created the video as a way to help preserve the industry’s past, and as a tribute to those who helped shaped the industry during its early years. The video, which was previewed earlier this year at the Purdue Pest Management Conference, includes interviews with industry icons John Osmun and Harry Katz.
