Rick Cooper, technical director, Cooper Pest Solutions, appeared on today’s "CBS Early Show" to discuss the rising problem of bed bugs on college campuses. (Click here to view the video clip). Colleges are quickly becoming "ground zero" for bed bugs, so Cooper provided students with tips for avoiding them in an interview with Maggie Rodriguez. Cooper also is author of ''The Bedbug Handbook.''
Phil Cooper, president of Cooper Pest Solutions, said, “Awareness by the general public is the most important element in preventing the spread of bed bugs and the focus by the CBS Early Show on this ongoing battle only increases awareness. We encourage the general public to visit www.bedbugcentral.com to download free educational resources to help them learn more about this invasive pest and how to avoid bringing bed bugs home."
