LAS VEGAS — Industry professionals have gathered in Las Vegas this week for NPMA Academy, three days of learning in unique, hands-on, interactive environments. NPMA Academy is sponsored by Dow AgroSciences.
In addition to numerous networking opportunities, attendees have heard from leading business professionals Eric Chester, Amy K Hutchens, Rowena Crosbie, and Deborah Rinner Godwin. Topics include effective communication, recruitment, retention and the secrets of brilliant leadership.

Eric Chester kicked off the educational portion of NPMA Academy program with a wide-ranging presentation about hiring employees. He told PMPs they need to be more proactive with their hiring practices — they need to ‘hunt" for new employees, not ‘fish for them.
Teams had the opportunity to build Huffy Green Machines and race them on the first night of NPMA Academy in Las Vegas.
