CINCINNATI — Charles “Chuck” Irvine, general manager of Ace Exterminating, has successfully completed the Purdue University Food Plant Integrated Pest Management course. The 100-hour program requires readings on specialized topics distilled from leading trade publications, academic journals, and textbooks including information on sanitation, food laws and regulations, pesticide applications in food plants, pest-proofing for food plants, fumigation practices for food plant operations, and warehouse pest management.
“This is an intensive course and I am very proud of Chuck for all his efforts”, says Rick Steinau, president of Ace Exterminating. “Very few pest management companies obtain this mark.
