Action Pest Control Expands into Lexington
LEXINGTON, Ken. – Action Pest Control announced the expansion of the company to the Lexington, Ky. region.
As a Lexington native and 1981 University of Kentucky entomology graduate, owner Kevin C. Pass says it’s a move he’s wanted to make for quite some time.
“Lexington will always be home for me and it’s a community to which I feel strongly tied,” said Pass. Pass’ father, Professor Bobby C. Pass, was the department chair of UK’s entomology department from 1968 to 2001 and was a pioneer of the widely-used integrated pest management practices utilized today.
Kevin founded Action Pest Control in 1981 and has grown the company to five branch locations and over 100 employees. Action Pest Control is currently ranked 68th in the nation of over 15,000 pest management companies.
To support the expansion, Action has hired Danville resident and native, Mike Vest. Vest comes to the company with over 16 years industry experience in the Louisville and Lexington areas.
“In the short time Mike has been with Action, he’s proven to be a valuable asset to our company as well as the communities he serves. We’re very glad to have him on our team,” said Pass.
