Action Termite and Pest Control Founder Completes First Skydive at 75. |
TOMS RIVER, N.J. — Action Termite and Pest Control's founder Richard F. Russell, age 75, completed his first sky dive. Russell decided to do something not many have the nerve to do and did it with no fear. While on vacation in Florida, he decided to make the jump a reality.
“It was something I always wanted to do,” said Richard Russell. “It was a great experience, there was no fear, just the thrill of jumping at 11,000 feet. There is no feeling like it.”
Russell founded Action Termite and Pest Control in 1971 and has steadily grown the company with great word of mouth. With over 50,000 customers in New Jersey, New York Delaware and Pennsylvania and a staff of 46 employees, Action Termite and Pest Control is a solid family owned and operated company that provides excellent customer service and the latest technology in pest control.
Action was one of the first companies in New Jersey to utilize a bed bug inspection dog and now currently has 6 working in New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania and Delaware.
