ST. LOUIS, MO – Whitmire Micro-Gen, manufacturer of the Advance® Termite Bait System (ATBS), introduces a new four-page brochure designed specifically for home builders. The full-color brochure highlights the features and advantages of using ATBS in the pre-construction of new homes.
TBS is a highly effective, minimally invasive termite pre-treatment solution that offers complete termite control without interrupting the building or closing process, according to Whitmire Micro-Gen. ATBS is recognized by state regulatory agencies and lenders to satisfy the termite closing letter requirements that builders face. “A pest management professional can install ATBS after the construction is complete and the final grade is finished, eliminating the hassles of the multi-step process required by other liquid termite treatments,” said Marketing Manager Jeff Vannoy. “There is no complicated treatment of wood surfaces or multiple step liquid soil treatments that may disrupt the work of other subcontractors.”
ATBS dual-stage stations are placed in the ground around the perimeter of the home. Appearing similar to a sprinkler head, the stations are installed inconspicuously at soil level with child/pet tamper resistant caps that are opened only by a pest management professional who monitors the stations quarterly. If the technician finds termite activity, the upper stage feeding cartridge is replaced with a bait cartridge with a preferred cellulose matrix called Puri-Cell™, which provides a large dose of killing power against termite colonies. As termites feed and travel back to the colony, they share the bait with others and send more termites back to the bait to feed. As feeding continues and more termites consume the bait, the termite colony is eliminated.
Whitmire Micro-Gen also has introduced a new four-page brochure designed specifically for the owners and managers of commercial property. The full-color brochure highlights the features and advantages of using ATBS to protect commercial property from devastating termite damage.
