MANHATTAN, Kan. — The AIB International Board of Trustees announced that Andre Biane has been selected to serve as President and CEO of the organization. A five-month, nationwide search was conducted in the selection process.
Biane has served more than 30 years in the food industry and has experience in quality systems implementation, technology translation, strategic planning, organization design, and leadership. He has served as vice president of Research and Design and Quality and Vice President of Product Development at Sara Lee, vice president of Research and Design and Quality at Earthgrains Company, several Quality positions with Eagle Snacks and Anheuser-Busch Companies, and as a managing partner of ABusiness Solution, LCC, a consulting company to multiple Fortune 500 companies.
Biane will replace James Munyon, who has served as President and CEO of AIB International for the past eight years. Munyon is a 38 year veteran of the food industry and served as an executive for Carnation Co., Nestle Co., and AIB International. Starting on March 11, 2013, Munyon will begin assisting Biane with the transition.
