AIS, a specialist pesticide and pest information consultancy business, has become the third member of the PestBusiness.com alliance. AIS Managing Director Rod Parker commented, “I am delighted to be joining Xenex Associates and Active Solutions to continue the development of the PestBusiness.com concept.”

PestBusiness.com was established in 2006 with the objective of helping owners and managers in the global pest management industry grow the value in their businesses by organizing business-related conferences and events and by developing a website of essential global information for the sector. With the addition of AIS, PestBusiness.com will be able to add the provision of market data and information to its range of services.

Welcoming AIS to PestBusiness.com Xenex Associates’ Rob Fryatt said, “AIS brings a wealth of experience which perfectly complements the skills of the founder members. We are looking forward to working with Rod and his colleagues.”

AIS was formed by Rod Parker in 1988 initially to build the first global data base on infestation and damage problems due to weeds, insects and diseases in agricultural crops. Today the company also operates the only data base on the extent of infection and unmet needs in commercial and companion animals, gathers regular agricultural and commercial horticultural pesticide use data and is the sole supplier of multi-country data on pesticides used in the non-crop sectors, including pest management.

In addition to its UK-based consultants, AIS has strong links with consultants in Argentina, Australia, Belgium, Brazil, China, Colombia, Ecuador, France, Germany, India, Indonesia, Israel, Italy, Japan, Kenya, Malaysia, Mexico, Netherlands, New Zealand, Pakistan, Portugal, Scandinavia, South Africa, South Korea, Spain, Thailand, Turkey, Ukraine, Vietnam and the USA.
