Alabama PCO Sandlin Wins PCT Sweepstakes

DECATUR, Ala. — Mike Sandlin, owner of Sandlin’s Pest Control, Decatur, Ala., was announced as the winner of PCT’s February Sweepstakes.

Sandlin wins an Actisol Compact Unit from PCT Sweepstakes sponsor Actisol.

A 20-plus year pest management professional, for the past 11 years Sandlin has owned and operated 3-person business that services 400 commercial and residential in the Decatur area. Sandlin said he enjoys the people aspect of pest control and offers this advice to others in the profession. “You’ve got to have a passion for taking care of people’s property and their home and keeping them safe," he said. "You won’t be any good at this business unless you have a passion for it.”

In addition to pest control, Sandlin’s other passion is music. He is an accomplished drummer who also gives lessons.
