ROUND ROCK, Texas — Alta Pest Control announced the addition of Christina Kang as its new director of people and culture. Reporting to co-owner and COO Michael Langlois, Kang has nearly three decades of human resources experience across a wide spectrum of industries—from high-volume manufacturing and business process outsourcing environments to advanced engineering sectors including aerospace and defense.
Kang has a track record of building HR departments from the ground up and has been recognized for her role in supporting the creation of a multi-billion-dollar organization. Her leadership will be instrumental as Alta continues to scale its operations while preserving its strong, people-first culture, the company said.
“Christina brings a rare combination of strategic HR leadership and deep empathy,” said Langlois. “Her experience across complex industries and her ability to build high-performing teams from scratch make her the ideal person to champion our people and culture as we grow. We’re excited to have her on board.”
“Over the past two months, I’ve had the opportunity to work behind the scenes, learning about the company and identifying where I can make the greatest impact," Kang said. "What stood out to me most is the incredible culture the Langlois brothers have built—one that genuinely values its people, as reflected in the impressive employee tenure. I’m excited to build on that foundation and help position Alta Pest Control as a top employer in the industry.”
