LAS CRUCES, N.M. — Dr. Alvaro Romero, a former graduate student with Dr. Mike Potter at the University of Kentucky and a post doctoral student with Dr. Coby Schal at North Carolina State University, this month began a new job as an assistant professor and urban entomologist at New Mexico State University, Las Cruces, N.M.
Romero's research program focuses on basic and applied aspects of bed bugs that lead to better management of this pest by the structural pest management industry.
