SANTA FE SPRINGS, Calif. – Target Specialty Products and Bayer announced plans for the American Mosquito Control Association annual meeting, which will be held Feb. 28 – March 4 in Jacksonville, Fla.
AMCA participants are invited to stop by booth #611 to visit with the vector control specialists at Target Specialty Products. Target Specialty Products has a national presence in the vector control market and are here to lend support. They have recently partnered with three industry leaders to expand their product offerings, enhance product and customer support, and continue to partner with companies that can directly impact the vector control market and improve public health. Visitors can stop by the booth and learn more about the newest partnerships with Bayer, Leading Edge and London Foggers.
On March 1, 2022, Target Specialty Products will partner with Leading Edge to host “Tech Talk & Breakfast” from 7 a.m. to 8 a.m. There will be an educational session on bringing technology and science together in vector control operations.
“We are excited to reconnect with our existing customers, but also connect with new and potential customers. This event will be an excellent opportunity for us to reconnect after a long two years without AMCA,” Mike Nichols, national vector sales manager, Target Specialty Products, said.
Pest Management and Public Health, a business within the Environmental Science division of Bayer, will have an engaging booth experience at AMCA and is participating in educational sessions at the AMCA annual meeting.
“Bayer consistently invests in innovative solutions, research and education to help mosquito control professionals around the world protect communities and customers,” said Kurt Vandock, head of public health, Bayer U.S. “We are excited to show AMCA attendees how Bayer insecticide solutions, like Imperium® insecticide, can deliver superior efficacy with lower application rates and less impact.”
Bayer encourages attendees to visit the company at booth #712 to learn more about its solutions and attend two informative educational sessions:
- A survey of United States mosquito control programs reveals opportunities to improve the operational value of Centers for Disease Control and Prevention bottle bioassays on Thursday, March 3 at 2:35 p.m.
- Operational aerial spray trials of Imperium conducted under challenging conditions in two different regions of the U.S. on Friday, March 4 at 8:40 a.m.
“Mosquito control professionals will have an inside look at the latest research informing control programs and the solutions combatting mosquitoes to protect customers,” said Vandock. “They do not want to miss it.”
