Ameri Care Names Wanda Woodard Marketing Director

Ameri Care announced the addition of Wanda Woodard as marketing & communications director for the company's termite and pest control and moisture control divisions.

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. — Ameri Care today announced the addition of Wanda Woodard as marketing & communications director for termite and pest control and moisture control divisions.

“It’s become increasingly apparent that the pest and termite control and moisture management services industries are more competitive today than ever before in Rutherford County and beyond,” said Ameri Care Services CEO and President Tom Swett.

“Ameri Care has grown to 34 full time employees, and we recognized the need to create a full-time position to handle all of our advertising, marketing and public relations,” he continued. “Ms. Woodard comes to us with over twenty years of experience in print and broadcast experience in markets from Biloxi to Anchorage. We’re pleased she’s joined our professional family and look forward to her working with our consumer market, media representatives, realtors and builders in our area.”

Woodard graduated with a BA in mass communications from the University of West Florida and has spent the bulk of her career writing and producing advertising in television, radio, billboard and print media. Past businesses that Ms. Woodard created major advertising and public relations campaigns for include Georgia Pacific of Arkansas and Louisiana, Arcadia Farms, Oak Ridge National Laboratories Federal Credit Union of Knoxville and Factory Merchants Malls.

In addition, Woodard has worked with retailers and gaming and hospitality businesses along the Mississippi Gulf Coast. Prior to Hurricane Katrina, Woodard lived in Pass Christian, Mississippi and worked for the ABC affiliate in Biloxi. She now lives in Murfreesboro where her children attend Mitchell-Neilson Elementary.
